Robertson Tops Centuries Chart
We’re three tournaments into the 2016/17 season and so far Neil Robertson has made the most centuries, with nine tons to his name.
Robertson won the Riga Masters at the start of the campaign and also reached the semi-finals of the World Open. However the Aussie has a long way to go to match the incredible record-breaking total of 103 centuries in a single season which he set in 2013/14.
Indian Open champion Anthony McGill is second on this season’s list with eight tons, while World Open runner-up Joe Perry has made seven. All players to have made four or more are listed below:

The magic figure of 147 hasn’t been registered so far this season, with the last maximum break coming from Fergal O’Brien in the Championship League in February.
The rolling prize for a 147 at a ranking event has jumped to £40,000 so that huge bonus will be on offer at the Paul Hunter Classic in Germany later this month.
The rolling prize for a 147 at qualifying events, meanwhile, will be £10,500 at the Shanghai Masters qualifiers in Barnsley.

Shanghai Masters Set For Celebration
The Shanghai Masters will be staged for the tenth time next month.
The world ranking event was first held in 2007 and is the second longest running tournament in China, after the China Open. The beautiful city of Shanghai has become a popular destination for players and fans and the tournament is always keenly anticipated.

Mifsud Wins Australian Title
James Mifsud won the Australian National Championship on Sunday, beating Vinnie Calabrese 6-1 in the final.
The tournament at the RACV Club in Melbourne saw Mifsud concede just four frames in six matches and score a high break of 133.
Earlier this year, Mifsud narrowly missed out on the Oceania Championship, losing 6-5 in the final to Kurt Dunham, who now has a two year pro tour card.

Tour Survival 2017: The Early Running
It might seem like early days in the 2016/17 season, but with three ranking events already concluded and another to follow next week, already we can start to speculate as to which players have work to do if they are to remain on tour beyond the end of this season.
