Hi,

as Twin is not requeusted (up to now) and the budget is small, the ******** solution might be the Edision Argus Edision Argus piccollo or the Edision Argus mini IP .

Both would not need a CI-Module for the SKY-Card. The first can only handle one card, the second one 2 and has also CI-Slots. I would recommend the "mini IP".

As "tesky" wrote, you will have to use these Linux-Receivers with an alternative Firmware/Software to make them able to read SKY-Smardcards.
That is not difficult, but you have to work a little on it.

This Edision sounds good, how much does an ext. hard drive cost and how hard is it to handle?

I should have known that before then I would have gotton one of these for myself.

Even then Coniglio needs a reciever.

On the other hand we don`t know what exact specifications the reciever needs to fullfill: Twin or Single, High Def. or Standard resolution.

As far as I know it is possible to watch some (or all) US Stations via internet with a tool named: "sling box". A friend of mine is using it to watch his favorite Stations from NY. In case you are interested in this additional possibility I´ll need to contact my friend for more details.
