Samsung 9500 - Dolby Digital Sound

Hallo,

habe herausgefunden, dass Samsung 9500 Via CI zwar einen optischen Ausgang hat, aber Sound im Dolby Digital Format nicht unterstützt (s. unten die Stellungnahme vom Samsung).

Habt ihr vielleicht eine Idee, wie ich doch zum DD-Ton kommen könnte? Ohne einen neuen Sat-Receiver kaufen zu müssen.

Als A/V Receiver habe ich Nakamichi AV-10.

Actually, the DSR 9500 has output for connection to a digital amplifier.
But it isn't support Dolby Digital system yet.

my DSR 9500 VIA CI is connected by optical cable with Nakamichi AV-10 A/V Receiver. There is a lot of TV stations in my area, which broadcast movies in Dolby Digital sound format. When I switch DSR 9500 to AC-3 audio my A/V Receiver automatically recognizes the incoming DD-Sound. But unfortunately no sound at all is reproduced. I checked the optical input and it worked with other appliances.

My Nakamichi dealer suggests there is an DSR 9500 outgoing sampling frequency which may cause this problem. The A/V receiver can handle only 44 kHz and 48 kHz sampling frequences. What sampling frequency does Samsung DSR 9500 sends out via optical output? In case this frequency is 32 kHz, may I ask you to suggest a solution?
