iFollow and club streams will cease to offer coverage of EFL matches in the UK & Ireland at the end of this season. Instead, all televised matches will be live on Sky Sports via Sky and streaming service NOW each season. All 72 teams will be featured over 20 times a season on Sky Sports.

 

jo das ist das, was ich ja schrieb: da steht "NUR" Now und kein Bezug, ob UK und/oder Irland.
Muss man also wenn abwarten. Bei solch generischen Aussagen, kann es ein entweder oder, oder gar ein NUR etc. heißen. Oder beides. Man weiß es halt nicht

Good to know From next season (2024/25), Sky Sports’ EFL coverage will expand and replace the EFL’s video streaming option (provided by iFollow and Club streaming services) in the UK.

This means that you’ll be able to watch over 1000 additional EFL fixtures live on Sky Sports, which is available with a Sports Day or Month Membership."

How many matches will NOW show each season?
Sky Sports will broadcast 1,059 EFL games per year. This includes:

• 328 Sky Bet Championship matches
• 248 Sky Bet League One matches
• 248 Sky Bet League Two matches
• All 15 Play-Off matches
• All 93 Carabao Cup matches
• All 127 Bristol Street Motors Trophy matches

All these fixtures will be available to NOW Sports members.

How many matches will NOW show each week?
Under the new deal, 10 EFL matches will be shown each weekend (5x Championship, 5x League One and Two). Beyond that, Sky Sports will also broadcast:

• All opening and final day fixtures in the Sky Bet EFL
• All midweek league fixtures
• All bank holiday fixtures including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
• All fixtures played in League One and Two during international breaks
• All Play-Off, Carabao Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy fixtures

All these fixtures will be available to NOW Sports members.

Gibt es Erfahrungswerte wie lange diese Sonderpreise für Neukunden von Now Irland angeboten werden? Ist das nur jetzt in der Sommerpause oder das ganze Jahr?

 

Mindestens schon seit einem Jahr, aber wie lange noch > keine Ahnung.

Sky Sports UHD on NOW TV

 

Leider keine Bestätigung für Apple TV, Nvidia Shield und LG-TV (alle getestet).
Es gibt aber eine neue Version für Apple TV > NOW TV UK 32.0.0

Es scheint so, als ob es im August ein größeres Update geben wird. Sport+ sowie pausieren und zurückspulen von Sportinhalten werden kommen.

In dem verlinkten Uk Forum wird über die Einführung von UHD zum Start der neuen Fussball Saison spekuliert - wäre natürlich schön.
