The NFL Europe League puts on the pads for the 14th season and NASN will be there all the way to the World Bowl.

Six teams will battle it out over the 10-game regular season: the Amsterdam Admirals, Berlin Thunder, Cologne Centurions, Frankfurt Galaxy, Hamburg Sea Devils and Rhein Fire. The top two teams will play for the league title at LTU Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany on Saturday, May 27.

"The NFL Europe League has helped expose our sport to an ever-growing number of football fans around the globe," says NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue. "With a terrific mixture of sports and entertainment, NFL Europe has made great progress in establishing itself as a part of the mainstream European sports landscape."

Among this year’s 272 allocated players from the NFL looking to make their marks are quarterbacks Drew Henson (Rhein Fire) of the Dallas Cowboys, Brock Berlin (Hamburg Sea Devils) of the Miami Dolphins and Kliff Kingsbury (Cologne Centurions) of the New York Jets.

NFL Europe has been instrumental in developing players for the big time, and four former NFL Europe players played in the Pro Bowl this year: Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme (Amsterdam, 1998; Frankfurt, 1999), St. Louis defensive tackle La'Roi Glover (Barcelona, 1997), Buffalo punter Brian Moorman (Berlin, 2000-01) and Kansas City guard Brian Waters (Berlin, 2000). There were also 10 NFL Europe alum playing in Super Bowl XL.

So for those of you looking for your football fix and interested in seeing players who will be making an impact in the NFL next season, then NASN is your place as we take you through the NFL Europe season. Our coverage kicks off with As Live coverage on March 23 with long-time rivals Frankfurt and Rhien meeting in Düsseldorf. After the NCAA Tournament finishes off, we’ll be bringing you one LIVE game most every week, plus one or two As Live games as well, culminating with live coverage of the World Bowl.
