Can others confirm/deny the following,

1. TP 11526 has higher pwr/snr than TP 10853 ?

2. Channels on TP 11526 are playing normally but on TP 10853 there are frequent pixelations/glitches? For example, C5 UK

 

Hi Marty,
both, 11.526 and 10.853 are coming from the same Encoder, this means if 11.526 works fine and and 10.853 pixelates the issues is locally with you. The other way around, it the glichtes would be before uplink, they must appear on both frequencies at the same time

What about the power/snr of new TP?
It seems new TP is slightly weaker than previous one.

 

Nope, we measured the signal. 10.853 is even stronger than 11.526. Similar to 11.096.
Maybe you antenna is not focused?

 

It is confusing!

I’v had two recordings last night one from BBC 1 and other ITV1 both during same time of 22-23 Swiss time both on 10,853 TP. On playback, BBC1 recording had 3 times pixelations while ITV1 recording more than 5 times!
This morning noticed on previous TP itv1 was normal but on New TP frequent pixelations!
To me, with an E2 box and relative knowledge, it seems that there’s something unstable about the new TP since I couldn’t see any sudden drop in my SNR level graph when those pixelations were happening nor I didn’t have any issues with other Kabelio/SRG/FranceTv frequencies.

 

Considering you have professional capabilities, maybe i should try different LNB/wirings!

 

Interesting observation. But believe me, the source of 11.526 and 10.853 is exactly the same. The only diference is the TP,frequency and naming. Payload is absolute identical.
