Hello,
sorry because i write in English.
I have à D-BOX1 and I want to update it.
I used transbox edition to download dvb2000.bin to my d-box1.
All was good but when I click on "write" he says " No serial access".
How to do please.

Hi,

well, it depends on which version of software & bootloader are currently running on your dbox1.

If it's a "virgin" dbox1 with current bootloader and betanova software, then you have to buy a so called "BDM Interface":
Shop BDM-Interface für die D-Box 1, neues Design | Programmer / BDM

You'll need it one time in order to reprogram/downgrade the bootloader of your dbox1. It's necessary to avoid unwanted over the air updates back to the latest betanova! Be aware that you need a PC/Notebook with serial interface (LPT) to do that. Only very old models have that.

Once you've managed to do that, you can also put DVB2000 on it using the BDM interace. You need the Software "BDP 1.15" or "TranxBDM". Afterwards, you have serial access to your dbox1 (COM1) and even SCSI access.

The big question is whether it's not cheaper to buy a dbox1 which already runs DVB2000 (on ebay)...

i will give you some informations about my d-box1.
bootloder: B2.02pBD
Software: Betanova 1.3 ( I think).
My goal is to update my d-box without using a BDM interface .
If I download another file than dvb2000.bin is it possible to update my d-box without BDM?

Sorry, no chance without the BDM Interface. You defninetly have to downgrade/change your bootloader.
