Fragt mich nicht, wieso die Beiträge so aussehen, wie sie aussehen. Im Editor sieht es ganz normal in richtiger Reihenfolge und mit Leerzeilemn getrennt aus.

Aber genau s ist auch das neue NHL.tv. Alles verschlimmbessert. gefällt mir gar nicht.
Keine in-Game Stats mehr, man muß bis ans Ende vorspulen um die Stats zu bekommen oder extra das Gamecenter öffnen.
Man kann nicht mehr zeitlich vorspulen (also die Zeit sehen) (weder PC noch PS3/PS4).
Es gibt keine in-game Events mehr, die angezeigt werden, um gezielt zu einem Tor zu springen.

Ist bei mir über Apple TV genauso schlecht! Bin bisher total enttäuscht vom "neuen" und angeblich soooo verbessertem NHL App!

Extended Highlights jetzt nur noch 6-7 Minuten, vorher waren es immer 10 Minuten.

Die Werbpausen beim Full Replay wurden nicht mehr rausgeschnitten, sehr schlecht!

Und die Bildqualität ist auch nicht gut, genau Fussbalgott schon geschrieben hat waren manche Übertragungen zB. NBC zumindest LIVE der Hammer, die jetzige Bildqualität ist ein Armutszeugnis!!!

Hoffe der Support wird mit Beschwerden bombardiert!

 

Welches Apple TV hast du?

Die Qualität ist echt ein Witz! Sollte wenigstens "echtes" HD in 720p/60Hz sein....
Ist es aber nicht mal.
Jeder der schonmal echtes 720p HD (zB. Echten HD Film auf ARD HD/ ZDF HD oder besser auf ARTE HD) gesehen hat weiß wie genial scharf und super flüssig das Bild sein kann.....

Solange sich genug über die miese Qualität beim NHL App Support beschweren, wird ja hoffentlich mal ein Update geben.

 

Die haben sich nicht verbessert sondern verschlechtert. Ich werde mich aufjdenfall beschweren hoff bis zu den Playoffs wird's besser.

 

Der AppleTV 3 kann keine richtigen 60fps, da muss getrickst werden. Neulion hat das iwie hinbekommen, aber auch nur bei den Live streams.

Deshalb habe ich mir den 4er als offizielles Device neben kodi geholt und hier sind es durchgängig 60fps.

Ansonsten ist die QUalität der Streams in 60fps schon besser als vorher und auch canada kann man wieder ohne Ruckelnb schauen.

Manko ist natürlich, dass die Werbung nicht mehr rausgeschnitten wird. Hier einfach beschweren

 

Manchmal ist die Bildqualität recht gut, aber nicht besser wie vorher. Meistens deutlich schlechter.
Schaue gerade #NJDvsNYR und da ist sie ganz gut.

Der hat sich wie ein berühmter Footballspieler benommen. Ich sage nur #Burfict. Na ja die Anwesenheit von Rüpel Simmonds hat die Caps dann nicht weitergestört. Solange Ovechkin gesund bleibt, gewinnen sie auch. Die Flyers gingen zunächst in Führung, ehe Ovechkin mit seinem 30. Saisontor ausglich und wenig später Orlov auf 2:1 für Washington stellte. Kurz nach Drittelbeginn glich Schultz mit seinem 1. Saisontor aus. Aber Niskanen konnte wenig später den Siegtreffer für die Caps herbeiführen. Simmonds übrigens mit 0 PIMs. Noch was: Die Facemask von Mason gefiel mir sehr gut, Spieler als Zombies.Washington Capitals - Philadelphia Flyers 3:2Day 113:Das letzte Spiel der langen HNIC. Die Flames strecken die Canucks dahoam nieder. Ziemlich deutlicher Sieg, beide Kanadier derzeit außerhalb der Play Off Ränge. Mit dem Toreschießen ließ man sich Zeit. Frolik eröffnete dann den Torreigen im Mitteldrittel. Mehr passierte aber auch nickht mehr. Monahan und Bäcklund legten dann nach und sorgten für die Vorentscheidung. Etem mit seinem 1. Saisontor brachte die Canucks zwar noch mal in die Nähe, aber Bennett nutzte dann das leere Tor für seinen 14. Treffer.Vancouver Canucks - Calgary Flames 1:4Was war denn mit den Stars los? Und die Blackhawks sind on Fire. Ging schon mal nicht gut los für die Stars. 34 Sekunden gespielt, Bully verloren, Tor. Das 2. Tor ließ länger auf sich warten und wurde umgehend gekontert. 2:1. Doch kurz nach Power Play Beginn klingelt es schon wieder. Hossa per Rebound zum Unterzahl-3:1. Im Mitteldrittel legten die Blackhawks noch mal 2 nach, auch Kane durfte nicht fehlen. Im letzten Drittel beschränkten sich die Hawks aufs verteidigen und ließen immerhin kein Tor zu.Dallas Stars - Chicago Blackhawks 1:5Wichtiger Sieg für die Preds und wie ein Befreiungsschlag nch einigen miesen Spielen in der Vergangenheit. Es macht sich langsam bezahlt, daß man Johansen für die Offense geholt hat. Er bereitete gleich mal die ersten beiden Tore durch Neal und Jarnkrok vor. Thornton konnte die Sharks noch mal ranbringen, aber nie wieder so nah, wie zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Kurz danach viel das 3:1 und danach brachen die Dämme. Das Mitteldrittel verpennten die Avs dann etwas. Stafford mit einem Doppelschlag brachte die Jets 3:1 in Führung, doch Duchene brachte das heimteam noch mal ran. Die Jets waren aber deutlich besser und machten im letzten Drittel den Sack zu.Colorado Avalanche - Winnipeg Jets 2:4HNIC. Die aufstrebenden Oilers zu Gast bei den wieder auftrebend wollenden Habs. Die Partie war dann ziemlich deutlich. Die Oilers quasi ohne Chance. Ihnen flogen die Tore nur so um die Ohren und lediglich ein Ehrentreffer gelang ihnen. Ist das die Wende für die Habs?Montréal Canadiens - Edmonton Oilers 5:1Auch dieses Spiel begann zur gleichen Zeit und war fast zur gleichen Zeit zu Ende. Das Spiel begann mit einer extrem dummen und vorsätzlichen Tat von Simmonds, der zurecht ejected wurde und sich wohl noch einiges anhören darf. McDonagh wurde von ihm mit einem Boxschlag niedergestreckt. Nachdem der Störenfried entfernt wurde, gab es wieder Hockey. Die Flyers gingen dann im Mitteldrittel in Führung. Konnten diese Führung ins Schlußdrittel mitnehmen. Dann drehten die Rangers auf und konnten jeweils ausgleichen. Das Tor zum 2:2 fiel 13 Sekunden vor dem Ende und im Shootout gewannen die Rangers mit 2/2. Verdienter Sieg aufgrund der übertriebenen Härte der Flyers und wieder mal ein Sieg in Philadelphia.Philadelphia Flyers - New York Rangers 2:3 OTFrühes Spiel, langer Abend. Man musste nachsitzen. Die Caps gingen im 2. Drittel in Führung, die Caps drehten im letzten Drittel das Spiel, doch dann ein abgefälschter Schuß und Carey kommt zu seinem 1. NHL Karrieretor. I work for NHL.TV and MLBAM, here's what we did wrong
Hey folks, I’ve been working at MLBAM for 4 years now in their call center, and have never seen a disastrous launch as this NHL.TV roll-out. I was consulted on some of the changes, but more in a 'this is how we're doing it' way. I’m here to give you the insider info on how we f this up royally and what you should do. This is not an AMA, but rather an exposé. I am frustrated because we rushed this unfinished product out, and I’m embarrassed to have my name attached to it. Due to internal pressures and a premature promise in the summer, we had a deadline of late January to launch the new and improved app. However, while we got the PR aspects of the transition from Gamecenter to NHL.TV ready, we clearly did not get the QA and compatibility issues fixed. If this were done over the summer during the offseason, I can confident that we could’ve delivered a quality product that would’ve made GCL an afterthought.

If you want the tl;dr version, here it is: Call or contact us immediately to cancel your subscription to NHL.tv. A major boycott is the only way they will make serious changes to the app, or give control to/hire former GameCenter employees who know how to utilize it properly. There are plenty of free streaming alternatives to do so. I know this means that a lot of you will have to live without hockey for the next 3 months, but trust me, this will benefit you all in the long run.

Here are the main things you should know:

Billing and login errors: A lot of you are finding that you are not even able to log in now, even though you had paid for a subscription last year. The reason for this is because we didn’t properly transfer purchases that weren’t made on the Gamecenter site. If you purchased your sub through Google Play or Itunes, your purchase won’t be carried over until you manually link it. You can blame this on us, we missed this completely when doing QA tests. There are instructions to restore your purchase on the site, I can post it here if you guys want. It appears that once GameCenter learned that we were taking over, they became rather non-chalant with revoking access once you canceled your service. What does this mean? Let’s say you bought a subscription in September last year, then canceled in October, Gamecenter would send you a refund, but didn’t actually revoke access to streaming. So a lot of people essentially got free access until the official changeover. Billing is a mess, our phone lines are getting hammered.
Blackouts: Blackouts now operate similar to the way MLB.TV (a far superior product) operate. It appears that Gamecenter didn’t enforce blackouts, they were very lax on a lot of things, I think that’s why you guys liked it. We worked out a new contract with the cable networks in which we have to enforce blackouts based on your location. Sorry. If you try to use a VPN, the proprietary software we have will detect it, and block your login and cause a host of errors on every device you use. If you manage to get a VPN to work correctly and spoof your location, congratulations, and enjoy it while you can. We do weekly sweeps to locate ip address discrepancies, and once we discover you are indeed using a VPN, your access will be revoked. Ignore that $100 charge threat though, that’s just there for legal purposes, we’re not going to actually enforce that (or so I’ve been told by higher ups). BUT – VPNS, once detected, will cause you to see the dreaded login infinity loop and block your login. This is the one aspect of our product that I don’t see changing. Sorry.

Bandwidth - We claim that a minimum of 3MB per second is recommended to stream in HD. I want you to know that this claim is a blatant lie. In reality, you need a stable connection of at least 5MB/s to stream HD. When I say stable, I mean hard wired connection, with archaic Ethernet cables hooked up. If you have a great connection of 25 MB/s and get crystal clear HD at first, but then your connection drops momentarily for any reason, the service will be unable to adjust to the drop in bandwidth, this is what causes those dreaded blurry screens. The hardware and CDNs we use are unable to accompany dynamic bandwidth properly (this is due to scaling issues and a rushed, inferior CDN compared to MLB.TV), and this is what causes a lot of you to get really bad quality even with a great connection. Don’t bother contacting us via phones, twitter, or online etc. We’ll just loop you through meaningless steps until you give up and accept it.

The Vault
All the archived and classic games that used to be in GameCenter, dating back to the 70s are now gone. Why? The re-licensing of the streaming rights as we are moving to the new platform is a time-consuming and expensive process. I am told that most (but not all) classic games will eventually be able to be accessed on NHL.TV. However, it won’t be fully ready until next season. In our meeting with the GameCenter execs, they didn’t stress to us how important the vault and classic games were to their users. flour, we did away with the vault completely, even removing the option to purchase standalone subscriptions to it. The rollout for this will be very slow, I wouldn’t expect more than a few games to be added until late April. Please stop calling us asking about this. We KNOW, our call-center people know too.

CDNS
We are not employing enough CDNS to account for the amount of users using NHL.TV at once on a game night. This one, you can blame on Bowman. A lot of these MLB/NHL execs are cheap and are looking to cut costs in any way possible. One of these ways is by using lower-end CDNs to deliver the streams of hockey games from the networks. The cheapest offering of Akamai CDNs is being used for a lot of games, and this offends and angers me because we don’t do this for MLB.TV games. The results of this? Lots of dropped feeds, stuttering and freezing and laggy feeds when multiple games are going on. It’s not you, it’s US. This one infuriates me to the point where I think every user of NHL.TV SHOULD demand refunds. I promise you, with MLB.TV, you’ll notice a substantial difference.
End rant. I am secure in my job as I have MLB.TV to fall back on, a truly great product that I am proud to be part of. However, for job protection purposes, I have to remain anonymous of course. If you want change to NHL.TV, you must ACT on it. While I previously stated that I would like for you to stop abusing my precious employees and coworkers over the phone, I implore you to call us in droves and cancel your service and demand refunds. If you cancel your service, we WILL give you a pro-rated refund, no questions asked. This is the only way to show Bowman and upper management that a complete overhaul of this product is needed. We won't be able to restore it back to Gamecenter, but a massive boycott will cause us to hire more former GC employees to make changes to our product. Sticking with it for the rest of this season will just cause mediocrity to subside over the next season.
