Xvid recording makes Explorer crash

    Guten tag freunde!

    When i record a tvshow with THC using xvid encoder all goes well until i want to watch the show and doubleclick on the recorded file. Thats when Explorer crashes. All other Xvid .avi´s work well. Any ideas?

    Hi tkay,

    this can be caused by any other codec, because a Shell extension already tries to decode a file when it is selected in the Windows Explorer to get some video specific information, that is shown in the status bar. Please check if there are any other codecs installed, that can cause the crash.
