Hi I bought a nvidia 8800 gts 512mb ddr3 and he used the dvbviewer with powerdvd 7 and core avc, to see hd channels (mpg4) and I do not go well, they will not fluids. By passing this, if this card carries acceleration by ardware vc1 and h.264.Que am I doing wrong?

What can I do? The change by a ati 3870?

I looks like you have a new 8800GTS with the new Chipset G92, because you have 512MB not 320 or 640MB. Good.

Which driver you are using for your card ? Is the IRQ problems with this card are solved ?

PowerDVD:
PowerDVD 7.0 -> Version 3613(EVR)_DVD071211-02 or PowerDVD 7.0 Ultra 3516_PF2_Ultra_DVD071102-01.
CoreAVC does not support the GPU functions of NVidia/ATI or Intel.

NVidia:
Vista: 169.25
XP: 169.21

DVBViewer 3.9.2.0 Settings:
Select all codec from Cyberlink in the DirectX-Settings and set VideoRender to EVR by Vista and VMR9 by XP

Now your system have a load ~10% by viewing 1080i channels with H.264.

NO, both ATI or NVidia have the same functionality by HDTV. There is no difference between both.

Which version of PowerDVD do you have installed ?
It seams you use the very old version from Technotrend. The old version of PowerDVD from Technotrend does not support hardware acceleration. And CoreAVC does not support hardware acceleration, too.
Please make an update of PowerDVD.
