2. Improvements of Jan 24 2002 version
(1) The subtitle problem at Canal+ services is fixed.
(2) There could be a problem in DiSEqC 1.2 with the DiSEqC 1.2 Motor which supports under 50 indexes.
It is fixed.
(3) There was a sorting problem such that the channels are alphabetically sorted even in satellite sorting.
It is fixed.
(4) The playback problem at Ticket_xx services of satellite Sirius is almost fixed.
(5) The sound mode such as left, right, mono and stereo is saved individually at each channel.
(6) The system can support the bigger capacity HDD than 128 GB.
(7) In the previous version, the CVBS/RGB mode was forgotten at booting time. It is fixed.
(8) The game of Poker is removed by the insufficiency of memory and reserving more memory for TAP applications.
(9) The playback time display was not accurate just after cutting the recorded files. It is fixed.
(10) The digital audio output will be muted when the live video is paused except that the selected audio track is
dolby AC-3.
(11) The A/V sync. is a little bit enhanced.

3. The next official version will be available in the 28th Feb 2002.

Es scheint leider keine wirklich wichtigen Verbesserungen zu geben.
Auch haben manche damit Probleme mit der Tonwiedergabe. (konnte ich bis jetzt nicht feststellen)

Für die aktuellen neuen "Fehler" ist eine Lösung in Sicht.

We are very sorry for annoying you with the bad software.

I understand the new problems as followings.
1. A/V sync. problem or slow motion when channel change.
-- It is from the change of audio sync. scheme. We found that there are some channels with A/V sync problem. So, we changed it. We are trying to find the general solution to fix it.

2. AC-3 does not work completely.
-- We changed a little to mute the digital audio when pausing the live video. But, we have not found the problem with the captured stream in our company. Anyway, we are considering to go back to the original code.

3. Subtitles in Canal+ services
-- we have tested it with the captured stream in our company but no problems are found. We are checking the TP with the problem and will fix it as soon as possible if any problems.


We will release a new software next week.
Please understand our effort to modify the firmware.
1. It is 01:25 am sunday morning in Korea. There are 6 engineers here to test and try to fix the problems.

2. Our engineers will have a test trip for TF4000PVR to europe soon.
