Xbox Live/Gaming auf Windows Phone 7

Ab Herbst 2010 kommen von vielen Herstellern (Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, HTC, Samsung, LG, ASUS, DELL usw.) neue Handys (mit und ohne QWERTZ-Tastatur) mit dem Betriebssystem Windows Phone 7.

Wer so ein Handy bauen will, muss folgende Minimalanforderungen erfüllen:

Capacitive, 4-point multitouch screen
ARM v7 "Cortex/Scorpion" or better processor (anm. also eine CPU mit 1 GHz oder mehr)
DirectX9 rendering-capable GPU
256MB of RAM with at least 8GB of Flash memory
Accelerometer with compass, light, proximity sensor and Assisted GPS
5-megapixel camera or better with flash
FM radio tuner
6 dedicated hardware buttons - back, Start, search, camera, power/sleep and Volume Up and Down.


Neben vielen Businessapps, wird (im Gegensatz zu den vorherigen Windows Phone/Mobile Versionen) auch Spielen (mit Voice Chat) endlich ein großes Thema werden.
